SMARTboard Installation (09/11/08) The next generation of leaders being trained at Nine Ashes, should hopefully soon benefit from a new SMARTboard and Powerpoint installation at the site. The image above shows an identical sytem in use at Newquay Treviglas College. The installation will see a purpose fitted sytem, with Board, projector, speakers and imaging, which will have digital pincodes, rendering the system unusable if removed. Message from the County Commissioner (Uploaded 10/04/08) Dear fellow scouters, I am sure that you will agree, that Bob has done a tremendous job during his term of office, and he leaves a lasting legacy with which to build on. To this measure, my first task is to thank him for all the hard work he has done on behalf of the County during his term of office. With any change, there is always an air of apprehension, but let us not forget, the important part of scouting is the young people. Whatever any future administration changes may bring, it is important to remember, that the hard work and dedication of section leaders, who deliver scouting on a weekly bases, which is the true form of scouting. I trust that with the assistance of the county team, that I can continue to strive and maintain the good standard of scouting in Cornwall, which is enjoyed and admired by so many, and thus lead Cornwall forward to meet the challenging demands of the future. To all Scouters accross the County, in whichever role you deliver scouting, you have my grateful thanks for everything you do.
